Part 2

This is about our 48 hour journey back from Uganda. It normally takes about 9-12 hours.
On Sunday after church we put petro in the car and then had lunch then when to change are clothes to go see where the Nile River starts. When Rev. Bette and I came down from our room, bishop and pastor Paddy said the car would not start. By the sound you could tell it had to do with the fuel. The mechanic came and they pushed the car to his garage, and then drained the petro. Sure enough they had put diesel in the tank not petro. They replaced it with petro but it did not want to start so they pushed it back in front of our hotel. Later that night the four of us laid hands on it and prayed over it and it started. So in the morning we left as planned before the problem.
This is the kids that were yelling across the street to mzugu--------

These are the school kids saying they want to know Jesus in there
lives --------------------------------

Bette giving almonds                  Bette giving crackers.
We traveled about 20 kmh and it just stopped. There were kids on one side of the road yelling “Mzugu”, which mean white. We took their pictures and gave them some of our crackers. Then on the side where the car was after we pushed it down on to level ground into a school yard. The kids had just been released from classes to wait for their reports to take home, as it was end of semester. They came to see what was going on and we shared different things .Then Rev. Bette ask then how many know Jesus and then we lead 20 some kids to the Lord right there on the spot. We then taught them some songs like Jesus loves me. This was why they were cleaning the fuel injectors. The mechanic got one cleaned and it started so we drove the car back to the station to get the second one clean. We were there for some time. Finally we were on are way but we needed to get to a big city that could really help us more.so we were on the road again. Praise God will we found out that we could only travel at 10 -15 kilometers unless we were going downhill then we flow at 40kilometers.It was fun sometimes, there was this motorcycle that had a momma with baby tied on her back, papa, and bike driver( all on same bike)passing us on level ground then we pass then going downhill this exchange happen at least 4 times.

We made it to the border finally after 7 or 8 hours later totally was losing track of time. After getting all the way though both sides we found another mechanic to see what he could do. This time they changed the plugs, which were very black. Now it was running nice so we went to eat lunch. When bishop started the car it started back firing and running real bad again, so back to the mechanics we went. More setting and waiting they finally got it fixed enough that we could drive a little faster than before and then to try and make it to Kusmai where the main garage for his car was and could work on it was. Off we went the to Kusmai a long ride some time would run ok then other time not .Bishop finally removed the wire the company said would help it run smoother. We arrived around 9 at night, so we had to stay overnight. Bishop found us a hotel room. Bishop called the next day and said that they had to take the whole engine apart and clean every part, all from the diesel fuel

While we sat in the lobby Rev. Bette was talking to the clerk an ask him if he know the Lord, he said “no”, Bette told him when he came to help us with are bags we would him in a pray so he would know Jesus forever. Praise God he did. I even gave him my Bible so he had something to read. We finally left Kusmai around 6 that evening. we should have been home around 1am.
Well around midnight the car started over heating so we pulled into the service station to add coolant. We were only about an hour out from home .The car refused to start again so there we seat.as we set there a man walked by with a bow on his back and about a dozen arrows in his hand .Plus there was a vehicle that came by there or four times. The person at the station keep telling bishop to get a taxi to go home because isn’t ever safe .None of us had any more money, so that was out. Bishop called a pastor friend he came and towed us home Praise God.
The mechanic said there was nothing wrong with the car. and it has run fine since.
The whole thing was an attack from satan because we claimed back some of God people that weekend
Praise God for His protection not only for us but also for the gas station.
When we we're praying that night after being returned home safely I had this vision that there was a silver casing wrapped around the car and if anyone would have touched it they would have been shocked or something like that and they would not been able to enter .
the next part will be about the conference we just finished ,and that I'm still working on DVD's for.

God richly bless you all and continue to pray as God leads you.send letters often it is encouraging to hear from home once in a while.Love ,Cathy
